La revancha se viene YA! Una ventana que promete ser "puro filete"
meteorológico, sedujo al pobre escalador, quien imposibilitado de irse con
semejante panorama en frente lo le quedó más que alargar su estadía en
Patagonia...:-) Se suma al equipo Mario Ferreira alias "Malevo", guía del
Chaltén oriundo de Mendoza.
Dadas las condiciones actuales intentaremos la vía Afanassieff, una ruta
paralela a la Supercanaleta, por la cara Oeste, que es exclusivamente roca.
Es una de las rutas más largas del cerro, con unos no despreciables 36
largos, por lo que planeamos pasar al menos dos noches en la ruta. Y bajar
por la ruta Franco-Argentina, por donde estará intentando también la cordada
chilena de Ivan Leiva y Manuel.
El plan actual, siempre dependiente del desarrollo de la meteorología, es
iniciar la escalada el viernes 18.

Dado que prenderemos el teléfono satelital en contadas ocasiones, les
rogaremos que no nos envíen mensajes hasta que salgamos del cerro. Si bien
todo mensaje de apoyo y ánimo ayudan muchísimo, debemos priorizar la
recepción de los mensajes con predicciones meteorológicas o cualquier otra
información de importancia.
